Seeing in Darkness

Look into darkness

It won’t be long; you see light

Gaze at things; see words

Channel focus and see help

Speak gratitude; humbly free

John 1:1 – 14 (New Kingdom James Version [NKJV]), 1982)

What Do You Believe About the Meaning of Life?

What if you were a plant, what would you be?

Why not flowers?  They are so beautiful.

As you sink deeper and deeper into the meaning of the following poem, you may discover purpose; an escape from porn addiction.

Death. Life.

Few days; much trouble

Flowers withering away

Like fleeting shadows

At least, trees have hope; cut down

Stump dies; scent of water; buds

Jot down the poem on scrap paper and look at it throughout the day.

Ponder the words of hope.

Job 14:1 – 14

P.S. How did the scripture in Job affect you?

“Do you know the time when the wild mountain goats bear young?”–Job 39

Birthing New Life

They bow down for birth

Delivering forth their young

Little ones; healthy

They grow strong with grain grazing

They depart; do not return (Job 39, NKJV)

Climb to the Top.

Mirrors of the Minds

Which “D” am I?

Her oppressions wail

Crying bitterness of plight

Oppressing complaint

Which “D” am I?

Having eyes of flesh

Her days like mortal women

Misses life’s purpose

Which “D” am I?

Experiences

Lucid anguish through her thoughts

Who can deliver?

Shift the Meaning of your Feelings.

I have assigned one “D” to each poem.

However, you will likely have different experiences.  Perhaps, you are experiencing distress, despair, or depression.  What do you do?

The thoughts forming in your mind are causing feelings even if they are true or not.  You are in charge of how you think.

Now, Let’s Discover How to Shift Your Thoughts to Hope.

Experts call the method “Shifting.”

Example:

  • Be Aware

Whenever your thoughts drift onto negative energies, your physiology experiences a depletion of positive feelings.  You feel the change.

  • Shift Thoughts

Remove a negative thought with a positive thought.  You simply take an opposite point of view of the negative.

  • Focus

Focus on the positive thought until you experience empowering feelings.

  • Act

Do Something Positive Immediately.

  • Experience Hope

Notice How Cravings for Pornography Leave You.

Hope becomes the main focus.

10 Woe unto him that saith unto his father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What hast thou brought forth?

11 Thus saith the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.

12 I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded
